Journey to the Skeleton Coast

The skeleton coast is Four thousand kilometres across africa/ Zimbabwe to Namibia.

2. Why was it an ideal time to travel?
Because they heard that the skeleton coast had skeletons washed up on the beach and about the strandlopers.

3. What happened when they got stopped at Customs leaving Zimbabwae?
They were not allowed to to hold on to foreign.

4. What did the soldiers say to the people each time they got to them?
The soldiers told them We need to search your vehicle.
|
5. What weapons were the soldiers holding?
The soldiers were holding rifles.
|
6. What kind of animal tried to keep up with them in their car?
The animal that tried to keep up with them was a ostrich.

7. What is a land mine?
A land mine is a bomb that is placed on the ground for a defense and blows up when something steps on it.

8. What happened at the last road block?
At the last roadblock armed soldiers began to take supplies from there car,they took almost all of their money,then they sold clothes and got enough money to keep on going
|
9. What was on the beach on page 12?
On the beach there was thousands of seals.

10. What other animals did they see?
They saw a Occasional Kudu,and a ostrich.
